To be admitted to the degree course in Economics and Commerce it is necessary:
– the possession of a five-year high school diploma or other qualification obtained abroad recognized as suitable, or a four-year high school diploma and of related supplementary year or, if no longer active, of the educational debt assigned;
– possession of a good knowledge and ability to use the main tools of basic mathematics.
If the verification of the required knowledge is not positive, specific additional training obligations are indicated. The fulfillment of the educational obligation is subject to specific verification. Students who do not fulfill the additional educational obligations by the date established by the competent bodies and in any case within the first year of the course are required to re-enroll in the same year. Access to the degree program also requires the assessment of knowledge and skills in the English language

If you have a foreign qualification,  consult the specific information before proceeding .

If you are a  non-EU citizen residing abroad  read the  specific information .

The Degree Course is limited in number and provides for the  TOLC-E  (CISIA On Line Test) as a test of access and verification of knowledge.
Read the admission notice carefully, to find out the procedures and deadlines for enrolling in the  TOLC-E  and enrolling in the course

Proof:

  • it is compulsory  and must be taken before enrollment: not taking the test precludes enrollment.
  • it is selective, but there is no minimum score for access . Enrollment is subject to the outcome of the “Selection” ranking (winner or suitable). The ranking is formulated on the basis of the score obtained in the TOLC-E test . The Degree Program has
    limited number of places and a maximum number of places available for each “Selection” is foreseen in the Call for admission.   If your TOLC-E score   (“Mathematics” section) does not exceed the minimum threshold you can however enroll, but you will be assigned an Additional Educational Obligation (OFA).

You can take the  TOLC-E  by 24:00 on the day before the deadline for registering for the selection indicated in the announcement.
To take the  TOLC-E  you will need to:

1. Register on  the CISIA website  and select the  TOLC-E
2. Choose the date on which to take the TOLC and pay the € 30 fee payable by MAV or credit card
At the end of the TOLC you will be able to view and print the result from your profile on  the CISIA website .

The  Degree Program Regulations provide for the assessment of knowledge and skills in the English language at level A2  for the ‘Economics and business’ and ‘Economics and management’ curricula for access to the study program  .
The assessment is considered fulfilled for students in possession of the corresponding linguistic certification.
Students who do not demonstrate a linguistic competence at least equal to level A2 are attributed an initial linguistic deficiency.
This deficiency consists in the prerequisite of B1 eligibility with respect to the third year exams.

The knowledge required for access is considered positively fulfilled if in the  TOLC-E you will  achieve:

  • a score equal to or greater than 3.5  in the “Mathematics” section (13 questions);
  • a score equal to or greater than 17  overall in the “English” sections (30 questions)

If the score you will get in the TOLC-E test    that you can view and print from your profile on  the CISIA website does not exceed the established thresholds, you can still enroll but:

If you are the “winner” in the ranking of the Selection:
 –
 you can enroll in the course, according to the procedures and deadlines set out in the announcement, through  Studenti Online . If you do not register by the deadline, you will lose your place.

If you are not “winner” in the ranking or if you have not enrolled within the deadlines established by the call:  you can enroll in a subsequent selection of the same course (if any) without having to repeat the TOLC-E, and without having to pay the fee again.
Only for the September selection you can indicate, within the deadlines set by the call for applications, the interest in the recovery of places in the ranking through a specific button in Studenti Online and wait for the result.

If you have not returned to the available places after the recovery procedures:
–
 you cannot enroll in the course unless there are still places available and the School has decided to provide for a further selection. In this case, carefully read the terms established by the announcement.

If you are a student with disabilities or with SLD you can ask for an adaptation of the test. Consult the information on the  website of the Service for students with disabilities and SLD .

If you have special needs and want to extend the duration of your studies, you can opt for the  flexible path  and apply after enrollment.

To set up the internship you must participate in one of the following international mobility programmes:

A fixed fee (€ 156.00) and a remaining amount of tuition calculated on the basis of a sliding scale. Tuition fees are calculated based on the 2020 ISEE value with special subsidies in relation to the right to higher education.
With an ISEE value up to € 23,000, first year students and students that meet merit requirements are totally exempted from paying tuition fees.
