The Master’s Degree Course in Engineering and Computer Science aims to complete the educational and cultural paths started with the three-year degrees to train IT professionals with specific skills and design skills.
The development of the course with inter-class modality allows to establish a stronger and more profitable interaction between the disciplinary areas belonging to the two classes and an enrichment of the topics related to the modern approach of creating and managing complex IT systems.
Graduates will obtain skills in: analysis and formalization of complex problems, in various application contexts; design and development of high quality algorithms and computer systems, including innovative ones, for their solution; design in areas related to information technology, in the sectors of industry, services, the environment, health, cultural heritage and public administration.

Skills acquired in this programme include:
• system management, planning and design; management of complex, innovative and distributed systems, data analysis, intelligent cyber physical systems, robotics;
• complex experiment design and management;
• be equipped with contextual knowledge and crossdomain skills.

Admission will be granted to the candidates having a Bachelor’s degree either in Engineering or Computer Science that includes the following prerequisites: Geometry, Mathematical Analysis, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electromagnetic fields, Telecommunications, Automation. The course commission will evaluate the candidate’s curriculum for admission.

B2 in the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages is required. 

Candidates who have earned a degree taught in English or come from countries whose official language is English do not need a certificate of English language competence.

UniME students have the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ Mobility programme both for study and training. Calls are published on the site twice per year. Another opportunity for students is the UniME Funded programme “Students Around the World” (SAW) call for scholarships for study at the extra-European universities in the context of international cooperation agreements.
